Instead of listening to my usual music or podcasts on my drive today I decided to flip on 'talk radio'. It's amazing to me how much talk actually took place for the hour I had it on. I counted three actual conversations that lasted roughly a minute each. The majority of the programming was monologue or conversation between two hosts.
There are so many social options for interchange on any subject online that won't force the listener to sit and endure five minute advertising blocks about a product their not interested in. Seems like someone needs to look at their business model.
